Petrol's donation for more tolerable conditions in the pulmonology clinic of the Ljubljana Polyclinic

In addition to sponsoring a number of sporting, cultural and economic events and entities, Petrol also approves quite a few donation applications each year. The last one came from the Ljubljana Polyclinic, namely the Clinical Department of Lung Diseases and Allergies expressed the need for an air conditioner.

As they said, the temperatures in their premises last summer reached over 30 degrees Celsius, which is very uncomfortable both for the work of the employees and even more so for the patients. Therefore, Petrol decided to donate two air conditioners to the aforementioned department and also took care of their installation, thus enabling a climate-appropriate environment in the pulmonology clinic.

The donation was taken over by assistant dr. Matevž Harlander, who said on this occasion that the heat and humidity had been causing a feeling of shortness of breath, so both employees and patients could now breathe easier in cooled and consequently drier rooms. He added: "We would like to thank Petrol for their donation, which will facilitate work at the Clinical Department of Pulmonary Diseases and Allergies. I myself have been working here for a few years now and I can definitely say that it is not easy working eight or more hours a day in such heat. This year, the air conditioning has made work much easier. Thank you."
