EBRD granted revolving working capital facility to Petrol d.d., Ljubljana

Petrol d.d., Ljubljana operates in a highly complex environment marked by the energy crisis and related state interventions to mitigate the crisis in 2022. Despite the difficult business conditions, Petrol d.d., Ljubljana remains a financially stable and reliable partner.

Petrol d.d., Ljubljana signed a three-year revolving working capital facility in the amount of EUR 30m with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on 30 September 2022. This transaction will aim to support Petrol d.d., Ljubljana’s liquidity and allow it to continue with investments in the EV charging infrastructure by earmarking EUR 6.4m for the expansion of the EV charging point network in 2023. 

Regardless of the challenges in the business environment Petrol d.d., Ljubljana continues to focus on the energy transition to a low-carbon company and the fulfilment of sustainability commitments in accordance with the Petrol Group’s Strategy.
