Overview of the financial effects of the amendment to the Decree on setting the prices of certain petroleum products and assessment of the damage suffered by the Company with the conclusion of a long-term storage contract at the Zadar warehouse

Ljubljana, 29 February 2024 - At today's 48th meeting, the Supervisory Board of Petrol d.d., Ljubljana, considered the financial effects of the amended Decree on setting the prices of certain petroleum products, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 15/24 (hereinafter referred to as the "Decree"), and discussed a report prepared by the law firm Zaman and partners, Ltd, Ljubljana, on the conclusion of a long-term storage contract for the storage of petroleum products at the Zadar warehouse in 2021 and 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the "Report").

The information received on the financial impact of the Decree of 27 February 2024 shows that its amendments, which provide for an increase in the regulated margin for individual petroleum products to EUR 0.0783 per litre for diesel, EUR 0.0794 per litre for NMB and EUR 0.08 per litre for KOEL, continue to make it impossible to cover all the costs associated with the retail sale of petroleum products on the territory of Slovenia and have a negative impact on the Company's business.

Moreover, the Supervisory Board discussed the Report and decided that a financial expert should also be appointed to review the economic basis of certain business decisions and to determine the amount of any loss to the Company.
