Ownership structure

There were slight changes in the ownership structure of Petrol d.d., Ljubljana (top ten shareholders) in first nine months of 2021 in compare to the end of 2020. As a result of the depositary in Slovenia being changed by Češkoslovenska Obchodni Bank, A.S. – fid., Clearstream Banking SA – fid is now the largest single shareholder, with 284,619 shares.  It is followed by the Slovenian Sovereign Holding with 264,516 shares and Republic of Slovenia with 225,699 shares. Other major shareholders are Kapitalska družba d.d., OTP Banka d.d. – client account - fid, Vizija Holding d.o.o., Vizija Holding Ena d.o.o., Perspektiva FT d.o.o., Unicredit Bank Hungary Zrt. – fiduciarni and Nova KBM d.d.

At the end of September 2021, there were 560,721 shares held by foreign legal entities and private individuals, which represents 26,9% of the total. There were 22,220 different shareholders at the end of 2020, but this number fell by 1.6% to 21,875 at the end of September 2021.
Petrol d.d., Ljubljana did not repurchase any treasury shares in first nine months of 2021. Petrol held 30,723 shares in treasury (inclusive 6,020 Petrols’ shares of Geoplin d.o.o. Ljubljana) at the end of March 2021, equivalent to a 1.5% interest in the registered share capital.
