Following the meeting of the Supervisory Board of Petrol d.d., Ljubljana
Ljubljana, 4th May, 2009 - At today's 2nd regular meeting of the Supervisory Board of Petrol d.d., Ljubljana, the Audit Committee presented its report to the Supervisory Board, who agreed with the Committee's proposal to appoint KPMG Slovenija, podjetje za revidiranje d.o.o. to audit the company's financial and business reports for 2009.
The report prepared by the Committee for Personnel Issues and Management Board Performance Evaluation was also introduced to the Supervisory Board. Following the Committee's proposal, the Supervisory Board adopted a resolution to decrease the remuneration received by the Chairman and members of the Management Board pursuant to Article 270 of the Companies Act (ZGD-1). The gross basic salary received by the Chairman of the Management Board will be reduced by 25%, and the gross basic salaries of Management Board members by 20%. Notwithstanding the fact that Petrol d.d., Ljubljana is not majority owned by the state, the Supervisory Board also invited the Management Board to submit, by the date scheduled for the next Supervisory Board meeting, their opinions regarding adjustments of employment contracts with the recommendations of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia related to concluding employment contracts with the management.
