Petrol Group's successful performance in the first nine months of 2010

The Petrol Group sold 1.7m tonnes of oil products in the first nine months of 2010, up 3% from the same period of the previous year and 6% more than planned. Revenues from sales of merchandise amounted to EUR 313.1m, 10% above the figure achieved in the same period of 2009 and 4% more than planned. At the end of September 2010, the Petrol Group operated 439 service stations, of which 313 in Slovenia, 78 in Croatia, 38 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 4 in Serbia, 3 in Kosovo and 3 in Montenegro.

In the first nine months of 2010, the Petrol Group operated 28 gas supply concessions. In the first nine months of 2010, the Petrol Group sold 68,121 thousand m3 of natural gas, exceeding by 5% the level of sales achieved in the same period of 2009 and by 4% the planned quantities, and 34 thousand tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas, up 2% from the same period of the previous year and 4% less than planned. The Petrol Group sold 244.5 thousand MWh of electricity, exceeding by 56% the quantities sold in the same period of the previous year and by 9% the planned quantities.

Net profit generated in the first nine months of 2010 is estimated at EUR 34.8 million, up 8% from the planned figure and better than in the same period of 2009 when net profit of the Group amounted to EUR 19.1 million.

The Supervisory Board of Petrol d.d., Ljubljana will discuss the report on Petrol Groups performance in the first nine months of 2010 at its meeting scheduled to take place at the end of November 2010. After the meeting, the complete report will be published on the companys website and on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange SEOnet.
